Lilburn Daze

Lilburn Daze is an annual festival that has been bringing Lilburn’s residents together to celebrate the vitality of local artists, authors, performers and entrepreneurs for over 35 years. The event is held in City Park at 76 Main Street on a Saturday, usually near the end of October. Sponsored by the City of Lilburn and the Lilburn Woman's Club, proceeds from Lilburn Daze are used to fund scholarships, to provide public education programs, and to support local community organizations such as Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, the Hudgens Center for the Arts and DFCS, Hi-Hope, and the Veterans Administration Hospital.

Lilburn Daze overflows with fun opportunities for the whole family

The festival usually opens at 9 AM and features over 200 arts and craft vendors, numerous food concessions, a children's entertainment area, exhibits on community organizations and services, and a health fair. Throughout the day, local entertainers perform while people browse among booths containing an array of handmade crafts fashioned in traditional styles, decorative woodwork, furniture, quilts, wildlife sculptures, handmade needlework, fabric art, music boxes, carousel horses and holiday decorations. Traditional foods at the food booths always include hotdogs, caramel apples, funnel cakes, cotton candy and apple cider.

A bevy of fun activities can be found in the children's carnival area including pony rides, face painting, rock climbing and moon walking, while clowns and various costumed theme characters wander around entertaining the children. Admission to Lilburn Daze is free, and free shuttle service to City Park is available from the MarketPlace Shopping Center, the First Baptist Church and the public parking lot near Highway 29. Lilburn Daze is a wonderful opportunity to have fun while learning about Lilburn and discovering the plethora of amenities the city has to offer.
